About Amy

I am Amy M. Rittenhouse, Associate Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, serving as the Lead Therapist for Southeast Detox. With a strong educational foundation in Psychology (B.A.) and Clinical Mental Health Counseling (M.Ed.) from the University of West Georgia, I have dedicated the past six years to helping individuals overcome Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health challenges.

Beyond My Profession

Outside of my professional life, I cherish the time spent with my family, including my husband and three children. Our home is also shared with our spirited dog, Oliver. When not working, I enjoy activities that bring me closer to nature, such as reading, gardening, kayaking, and camping.
